Selling Your Art on Homegrown Judaica

We're always looking for new artists to sell their work on Homegrown Judaica.
Our ultimate dream site is one where you as the artist will control your own storefront, interact directly with the buyer through the site, etc. That site will require someone to custom build it, so at this point, we are operating as a more traditional e-commerce site, which means that all aspects of the sale (from posting to selling) go through us. While labor-intensive on our end, it is actually quite easy for you!

Here is what we need you to email to us:

1. Pictures of the pieces that you want to upload.
2. Descriptions and prices of each piece.
3. A short bio of you, to be included on the "our artists" page

When a piece of yours sells, you will get an email from us (and the payment, through Paypal) letting you know which piece sold and how to be in touch with the buyer. We expect you to contact the buyer within 48 hours of receiving our email, and to ship them their purchase within a reasonably short time.

Things you should know:

* The site is free to post. The fee for selling is 20% of the cost of the item, plus the shipping charges and Paypal fees.

* You're asked to include shipping charges in your costs, as well as the small fee that Paypal will take from you.

* You are welcome to "double-list" items - as in, you may certainly list items on HGJ as well as your etsy site, your own website, etc. That said, if you sell a one-of-a-kind item elsewhere, that is also listed on HGJ, it is your responsibility to inform us, so that we can take it down from HGJ immediately.

* Marketing Homegrown Judaica helps everyone's sales go up. We pledge to do our best (within a reasonable budget and time allocation) to publicize this site, and thus your work. Therefore, we will occasionally use your images in our marketing material (always with your name and contact information attached!) - please let us know if you do not want your pictures used in this way, and we will make sure to abide by your wishes.

* Please fill out this sellers' information form, so that we can have all your info on file.

Looking forward to selling your art!
